Our support sailboat Discoverer is now docked at The Longest Swim new base camp: Altasea Port of Los Angeles.
Altasea is dedicated to scientific and educational project development and to start-ups with the mission to raise awareness about the state of our oceans. In the following months, the warehouses of the Port of Los Angeles will gather more and more businesses, NGOs and ocean experts to create the first campus of its kind dedicated to the ocean.
We feel very lucky to be part of this project, this new base camp will be the perfect place to carry on with the preparation of Discoverer before we head to Tokyo and start the swim!
